Description
Height 12-18” Commonly known as alpine columbine, this plant is a compact species with charming, bright violet-blue, bonnet-shaped, nodding flowers that rise elegantly on slender stems above a fern-like, blue-green foliage. Blooms late spring to early summer, might rebloom in fall. Full sun to partial shade. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies, bee friendly. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 3-9.
