Height 16-20” This native aster’s attractive smooth dark greenery cloaks the bushy mildew-resistant clump whose upright steady stems present vivid, many-rayed violet-blue flowers with saffron-colored eyes. Blooms late summer to fall. Rabbit and deer resistant. Full sun to partial shade. Attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Zones 5-9.
