Yellowbud hickory is an excellent choice for riparian buffer zones, being tolerant of flooding. Soil: From dry, acidic ridges to moist, neutral floodplains, Yellowbud seems to be at home in a wide spectrum of contexts. Full sun. Zones 3-9
